How iQuit Guides Are Written

Every guide on iquitnow.life carries the byline iQuit AI. This page explains what that means, who is responsible for the content, and the limits of what we do.

What “iQuit AI” means

Our quit-smoking guides are drafted by iQuit AI, the same assistant technology that powers coaching inside the iQuit app, working from a fixed set of sources: Cochrane systematic reviews, national public-health agencies such as the CDC, NHS and WHO, peer-reviewed research and regulator information on nicotine products. The draft is then checked by a member of the iQuit team before it is published. We say this plainly because we think readers of health content deserve to know how it was made.

What the human review covers

  • Every statistic, date and quotation is checked against the source it cites, and the link is checked to resolve to that page.
  • Claims are compared against current public-health guidance. Where the evidence is weak or disputed, the article says so.
  • Anything about the iQuit app is checked against what the app does today.
  • Articles that fail these checks are corrected or not published.

What we are not

  • We are not doctors, pharmacists or counsellors. Nothing on this site is a diagnosis or a treatment plan. If you have a health condition, are pregnant or take medication, talk to a clinician before changing how you use nicotine products.
  • We take no payment from nicotine replacement, vaping or pharmaceutical brands, and the site carries no third-party advertising.

Who is responsible

iQuit is an independent quit-smoking app built and operated by its developer in Malta, EU. The iQuit team is responsible for everything published here, including content drafted by iQuit AI. Company details and the app store listings are on the About page. The rules we follow are in the Editorial Policy and the Sourcing and Review Policy.

Corrections

If a guide contains an error, use the support contact inside the app or the developer contact on the Google Play listing. Corrections are made in the article and noted at the end of it.
